CODE OF CONDUCT
Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Govt. Degree College Dharampur, Mandi (H.P.) is committed to providing a healthy, safe, and clean learning environment for all students, staff, and visitors. To protect our community from the harmful effects of tobacco and related products, the following rules are strictly enforced:
1. Tobacco-Free Policy
The use, sale, purchase, and promotion of all tobacco products is strictly prohibited within:
- College campus buildings
- Classrooms, labs, libraries
- Hostels and canteens
- Playgrounds and parking areas
- College buses and transport facilities
- Any area within campus boundaries
2. Products Included
This ban applies to:
- Cigarettes, bidis, cigars
- Hookah, tobacco leaves, chewable tobacco, gutka, khaini, pan masala
- E-cigarettes, vape pens, and all electronic nicotine delivery systems
- Any promotional material related to tobacco
3. Advertisement & Promotion
- No posters, banners, or digital content promoting tobacco is allowed.
- No sale or display of tobacco products within 100 meters of campus.
4. Responsibilities of Students & Staff
- Respect and follow the tobacco-free rules.
- Report any violations to campus authorities.
- Encourage a healthy, tobacco-free lifestyle.
5. Violations & Actions
Any individual found violating the policy may face:
- Warning for first violation
- Notification to parents (for students)
- Penalty/fine as per institutional rules
- Disciplinary action for staff as per regulations
